Everything runs locally in your browser – your label is never uploaded.
QR code
Manual entry at the machine if the QR cannot be scanned
Note: This only works for genuine, already registered DHL returns (labels with a billing number) – the Packstation or post office checks the shipment number against the DHL system. No guarantee that every machine accepts the code; the fallback is always entering the RET code manually or printing the label the classic way.
Print a DHL return label without a printer – here's how
Many shops only send a finished return label as a PDF, but no QR code to show. If you don't own a printer, you're stuck. QRetoure reads the label PDF and generates exactly the QR code that DHL Packstation machines, post offices and parcel shops accept for label printing – in the same data format as the official DHL return QR codes.
- Upload the label: drop the PDF above – everything is processed locally in your browser.
- Verify the data: shipment number and addresses are detected automatically and stay editable; the QR code appears instantly.
- Show it: scan the QR code at a Packstation, post office or parcel shop – DHL prints the label. You can also save it as a PNG to your phone.
Does this really work at the Packstation?
Yes. The machine looks up the shipment number in the DHL system; every genuine return is registered there. If the scanner will not read the code, you can also enter RET + shipment number manually at the machine.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. All processing – PDF parsing, address detection, QR generation – happens locally in your browser. There is no server that ever sees your label.
Which labels are supported?
DHL return labels with a billing number (marked "DHL Retoure"), both the classic layout and the newer common label format. Regular self-purchased shipping labels are not returns – for those, DHL offers the mobile shipping label at purchase.
Does this work with Hermes, DPD or GLS?
No – QRetoure works exclusively with DHL returns. Other carriers use their own, incompatible label printing systems.
How much does QRetoure cost?
Nothing. QRetoure is free and requires no registration.
